This picture was taken before August of 1914 in the front yard of Sylvia Akin's g-greatparents' (Henrietta Moss Alvis and Charles Montgomery "Gum" Alvis) home on old Hwy. 78 (now Church St.) in Potts Camp, MS. Their home was next to the school and across from the Potts home. The children are: L to R: Unknown, probably Joseph Hugh Alvis, Robert Henry Alvis, unknown, Lewis Alvis (died in August of 1914 at age 20 months).
